We protect this data from misuse and guarantee that we will never provide it to a third party. This includes your contact information, your participation in competitions, etc. Your personal data that you provide on Linking-time.com is confidential and under no circumstances is it provided to other entities.

Some of this information has the nature of personal data within the meaning of Act No. 122/2013 Coll. on the protection of personal data (hereinafter referred to as the Personal Data Protection Act). We follow this law when using your data. We undertake to handle and dispose of your personal data in accordance with the applicable legal regulations of the Slovak Republic. We declare that we will process personal data in accordance with good morals and will act in a manner that does not conflict with the Personal Data Protection Act or other generally binding legal regulations. We declare that we will not force or condition your consent with any threat.

What personal information we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Especially in competitions, we usually require the following information:

  • Full name, exact address including country (for sending the prize)
  • Your email address (for possible additional communication)
  • Phone number (for faster contact if necessary)

This data is stored in a protected database on the websupport.sk server, which has made the necessary adjustments in accordance with the GDPR regulation. We process your data for the purposes of handling and delivering the prize. If you wish to delete your data stored with us, please request this by email. All information about you will be deleted within 10 days of receipt.

During your visit, temporary information necessary for the proper functioning of the portal and statistical data for our portal are stored on the Websupport server.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

As soon as possible after receiving the withdrawal of consent for the processing of personal data, we will ensure the deletion of your personal data that was subject to processing for marketing purposes. If you have decided to give us consent to process your data for marketing purposes, you also confirm that you have given us this consent voluntarily. And that you are aware that this consent is valid until its withdrawal or until the end of the processing period of your personal data.

We are authorized to process your personal data even after the end of the original purpose of processing, but only to the extent necessary for statistical and survey purposes.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit this information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
